TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Students at a Topeka elementary school got to take part in a national celebration Wednesday afternoon.
Students who participate in the after-school program at Williams Science and Fine Arts Magnet School took a fun trip to the Brown versus Board of Education National Historic Site.
The visit was part of the 14th annual "Lights On After School" campaign. Kids learned a choreographed dance and enjoyed snacks. They also received math and reading help.
Lights On After School highlights after-school programs across the country and the opportunities they provide for students.
