Topeka Collegiate Celebrates 30 Years

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka school struck a pose Friday to mark a big birthday.

Students and staff at Topeka Collegiate formed a giant "3-0" on their soccer field, posing for a photo to celebrate the school's 30th anniversary.

A photographer climbed aboard a lift 20 feet in the air to capture the image. The photos have become a tradition for every fifth-year anniversary.

The school also marked the occasion by honoring its founders, Susan and Kent Garlinghouse, as the inaugural inductees into the Topeka Collegiate Hall of Fame.
