The Topeka Performing Arts Center named Michael Silva as the venue's new interim executive director.
Silva began his duties Tuesday.
Silva joined VenuWorks, the entity contracted to manage TPAC, in December 2012. He served as the executive director at Convocation Center at California University of Pennsylvania. He has more than 17 years of facility management experience in all.
"Michael brings significant industry experience and will provide continuity in his role of Interim Director," John Bardsley, TPAC Board of Trustees President, said in a news release. "(He) has the experience to bring a wide variety of activities to this facility. We look forward to working with him."
Silva replaces Jan Allan Zarr who took a new position in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
