Shawnee Co. Historical Society Sets Civil War Lecture Series
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Shawnee County Historical Society is sponsoring a new lecture series of "Shared Stories of the Civil War" Reader's Theatre. The first one focuses on the rhetoric of the Civil War.
The program is 2 pm Sunday, Sept. 30, at the Ritchie House's Cox Communications Heritage Education Center, 1118 SE Madison near downtown.
Society president Deb Bisel talked about the series on 13 News at 4 Wednesday.
