Security Benefit Announces Record United Way Total

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Things got messy for one area executive Friday.

Security Benefit's John Guyot received a sweet treat, courtesy se2's Chief Operating Officer Frank Rosa. Guyot earned the "honor" by winning the company's penny wars, just one of their activities to raise money for the United Way of Greater Topeka.

Security Benefit's campaign wrapped up Friday. The company announced a record gift for the United Way. Employee contributions topped $120,000. Combined with a 150 percent corporate match, their total exceeded $300,000.
