Protect Your Pet at Helping Hands' Tag Day

13 NEWS AT 4 (WIBW) - People are invited to ensure their pets have the best chance of coming home should they ever get lost at Tag Day. Helping Hands Humane Society hosts the event at their shelter at SW 21st and Belle in Topeka.

Tag Day runs from noon to 4 pm Saturday, April 5th.

Veterinarians will be on hand to give rabies vaccinations for $10. Microchipping to identify animals also can be done for $25. Those who want to get a little grooming done for their four-legged friends can have their nails trimmed for $5. City licenses also will be available for purchase.
