Positive Connections Hosting Bullying Event, Piano Concert

(WIBW) - Positive Connections has two Saturdays of events coming up.

First, a screening of the documentary "Bully." It followed by a panel discussion at an event that also includes a community resource fair. The event is geared toward students, parents and school staff. It's from 10 am to 1 pm Saturday, October 5, at the Topeka High School auditorium.

Then, the group is teaming up with Metropolitan Community Church for a piano concert featuring Melba Sutton and friends. They call it an "Evening of Divine Mystery."

The concert is 7 pm, Saturday, October 12, at First Christian Church, 1880 SW Gage. Tickets are $20.00 and children 12 and under get in free. Proceeds benefit Positive Connections and Metropolitan Community Church of Topeka. Call 785-232-3100 or buy online at www.pcneks.org.
