FILE - In this Monday, Sept. 24, 2001 file photo, rescue workers examine the site of the Sept. 11, 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attacks in New York. The most comprehensive study of potential World Trade Center-related cancers raises more questions than it answers and won't end a debate over whether the attacks were really a cause. From the City of Topeka
Saturday at Noon, a 13,000 pound concrete block, part of the last wall standing at ground zero, will be placed outside the Topeka Fire Department’s Administration Building, 324 SE Jefferson.
Topeka will be home to this memorial for the next 2-3 years, then it will be placed at a memorial in KCK (that organizers say will be the largest 9/11 memorial in the country).
Please stop by to see this memorial that we are honored to host.
