TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A group that works with people living with mental illness wants to change minds,one step at a time.
The National Alliance of Mental Illness or "NAMI" kicked off their 10th Annual Nami-Walks event today. With a lunch at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library.
Team captains and NAMI leaders attending heard plans for raising awareness and recruiting team members and donors. This year's walk is April 27th at Gage Park.
