"Luther-Palooza" Christian Music Festival Set For Manhattan

(WIBW) - Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is the major sponsor behind a free Christian music festival in Manhattan.

Lutherpalooza takes place from noon to 8 pm Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Norvell Band Shell in Manhattan's City Park. The event is free, but donations will be accepted for Shepherd's Crossing, an organization which provides people with assistance for needs such as rent, utilities and food.

Festival founder Neal Wollenberg and Dave Romero, who is a pastor at Westview Community Church in Manhattan, visited 13 News at 4 to talk about the event and share a taste of some of the music.
