TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A longtime educator in the Seaman School District has set a graduation date for his career.
At a special board of education meeting held over the noon hour Thursday, the USD 345 board accepted the resignation of deputy superintendent Rob Balsters. It's not effective until August 31st, 2014. Balsters has been with the district 37 years.
Board members also looked at bids for electrical work at Seaman High School. The work will add circuits for new computers and iPads. Three companies submitted proposals. The board went with the low bid from Lesser Electric of $17,603. The company says it can complete the work in seven days.
