TOPEKA LIBRARY -- Got the dating blues? This Sunday, February 6th, get the scoop on singles and dating from local author Casey Moore. He's appearing in the Topeka Room of the Topeka Library at 2:00 this Sunday afternoon. (That's on the 2nd floor.)
Be among the first 20 people at the program and receive a free copy of Casey's latest book, "Midnight Kiss."
“Midnight Kiss is written from a distinctly Christian worldview,” Moore said. “I’ve taken the truth of God’s word and applied it to singles. While singles clubs, dating websites and the like may provide places to meet new people, I don’t think they provide the biblical perspective on relationships that is presented in Midnight Kiss.”
Moore uses examples from real life and from the Bible to illustrate the good, the bad and the ugly scenarios of dating in the Christian arena. Moore seeks to illuminate the pitfalls and simplify the process of dating by encouraging Christian singles to focus on God first and let relationships develop in God’s time.
Moore was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Maryland. He has served hundreds of singles as a local pastor. He is also the founding director of One Message, Inc. based in Topeka.
A book signing follows the author talk. For more information on this event or the Sunday Afternoon with Kansas Author series, call the Topeka Room at 580-4510.
