TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-Maynard Oliverius will receive the 2012 Bal Jeffrey Award, honoring distinguished contributors to health care in northeast Kansas.

Oliverius retired earlier this year from his position as Stormont's CEO. During his tenure Stormont merged with the Cotton O'neil clinic in 1995, growing the organization from 71 to 210 doctors, serving at 28 locations in northeast Kansas...

Stormont-Vail Health Care has been recognized as one the nations top 100 integrated health networks seven times.
