TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger is warning residents of cyber scams, especially during the holiday season.
Praeger says there are many fraudulent websites and scam artists working during the holidays to take your money or identity.
Some potential online holiday problems include, electronic greeting cards that may contain malware, donations solicitations from organizations you aren't familiar with, phony credit cards applications and shipping notifications for items you didn't order.
