TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Kansas High Patrol along with local agencies have released the results of a recent seatbelt enforcement campaign.
From February 24th thru March 7th, KHP in conjunction with several other law enforcement agencies across the state conducted a seatbelt enforcement campaign around area high schools.
During that time, officers issued seatbelt citations to 123 teen students and 493 adults and issued 67 child restraint citations.
The seatbelt enforcement campaign is in conjunction with the "Seatbelts Are For Everyone" program.
