K-9 Expected To Remain Closed Following Coal Train Derailment


All lanes of K-9 in the city of Frankfort in Marshall county are expected to remain closed as cleanup continues following the Monday morning coal car derailment.

The Kansas Department of Transportation expects the cleanup will continue through Sunday morning June 7, weather permitting.

Drivers are urged to use alternate routes until further notice.
