TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A local President and CEO has been honored by his Alma Mater.
The KU School of Business honored John Dicus as its 2014 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient.
Dicus is Chairman, President and CEO of Capitol Federal Savings Bank. He was recognized for his dedication to business excellence, community service and commitment to KU.
Dicus earned a bachelor's degree in business from KU in 1983 and went on to earn an MBA in 1984.
Dicus has been with Capitol Federal for 29 years, starting as a bank officer and working his way through the ranks to President and COO in 1996.
