TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - You can help in naming the Topeka Zoo's newest baby orangutan.

The little boy was born on February 25 and is said to be doing well.

Zoo staff selected six Malaysian themed names -- they are all based on a specific meaning or how they relate to Mawas and Rudy, the baby's parents.

The names to choose from are:

1. Indah - means wonderful in Malay
2. Kawan - means friend or companion in Malay
3. Bumi - means Earth in Malay
4. Muway - a combination of Rudy and Mawa's names
5. Janji - means promise in Malay
6. Sepurna - means perfect or flawless in Malay

To vote for the name you like best, you can visit the Capital City Bank Tree Top Conservation Center at the Zoo, or visit Topeka Zoo's Facebook page and "like" the best name. A link to their Facebook page is posted below.
