HELPING HANDS -- Santa Paws is coming to town! To celebrate the timeless tradition of the “howliday” family photo, Helping Hands Humane Society invites the public to join us at Stone House Animal Hospital (10th and Fairlawn) on Saturday, November 19th from 10am to 2pm to kick off the holiday season with a fun photo.
Photo packages include one 5X7 and 4 wallets (suggested donation of $15). Every animal that has their photo taken will receive a holiday gift from Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Animals that may be afraid of Santa are still encouraged to attend; Santa will take a welcomed break during their photo. Animals who may be deemed “energetic” or “hyper” are still invited. The photographer and her team have years of experience handling all kinds of animal personalities. There will be assistance available for people with groups of pets who need help managing them.
All proceeds from Santa Paws benefit Helping Hands Humane Society and make it possible to care for the over 9,000 lost, abandoned and abused animals received each year.
HHHS fosters the adoption of companion animals into responsible homes and reunites lost animals with their owners; promotes sterilization of animals to help reduce overpopulation; provides a facility accessible to the general public; serves the community with educational programs addressing animal welfare issues; and maintains a fiscally responsible organization.
