TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Gifts became gifts at the Topeka Rescue Mission.

Guests staying at the mission went "shopping" Monday. The mission sets up a store, stocked with gifts from donors. The guests can select items for themselves, but organizers say most mission guests take the opportunity to experience the joy of perusing the shelves.. and selecting gifts for loved ones.

Volunteers then wrap the gifts, so they can be handed out for the holiday.

The mission says it's only possible with the generosity of donors.
