Couple Honored For Keeping America Beautiful

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Keep America Beautiful of Topeka and Shawnee County held its volunteer appreciation luncheon Tuesday at the Big Gage Shelterhouse.
The day's big honorees were Eldon and Maggie Pinick. Not only were they named the 2012 Keep America Beautiful Topeka/Shawnee County volunteers of the year, but, to recognize their great contributions, the award now will be named in their honor.
The luncheon also recognized the efforts of other individuals, schools, businesses and civic organizations.
