"Giving Cards" Available Through Community Foundation

TOPEKA -- Trying to find a gift for someone who has everything? Look no further and try a Topeka Community Foundation Giving Card.

The Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of Giving Cards. Much like retail gift cards, Giving Cards, are given to celebrate birthdays, holidays and other special occasions. You can purchase the cards in increments of $25, $50 or $100 and they can be redeemed to benefit any 501(c)(3) public charity in Topeka or the United States as well as schools and churches. You receive a tax deduction for the gift and the charitable donation goes to the recipient’s charity of choice.

Giving Cards can be purchased and redeemed online at www.topekacommunityfoundation.org. For more information, contact the Foundation office at (785) 272-4804.

The Foundation manages more than 350 funds established by individuals, families, businesses and civic organizations. The Foundation has assets of $40 million.

The mission of the Topeka Community Foundation is to connect donors with their interests and community needs, increase charitable giving in our community, provide leadership on key community issues and ensure stewardship and accountability for effective community investment of donor dollars.
