Get the Info on Topeka's Graduation Ceremonies

KANSAS EXPOCENTRE -- Graduation for students who've completed their studies at the high schools in Topeka, will celebrate their commencements this Saturday, May 14th at Landon Arena. The times for the ceremonies are:
10:30am for Topeka High School
1:30pm for Highland Park High School
4:30pm for Topeka West High School

Number of graduates this year:
368 at Topeka High
186 at Highland Park
228 at Topeka West

Commencement Speakers:
Topeka High – Stacie Kossoy (THS ‘01)
(Stacey opened the KIPP DC Grow Academy in Washington D.C. in 2010. It is an early childhood school with 100 pre-kindergarten students. KIPP stands for Knowledge is Power Program.)

Highland Park – Dale Cushinberry.
(Dale is a graduate of Highland Park High School. He served as the HPHS principal for 16 years before retiring last year.)

Isiah Keith, Senior Class President

Topeka West – Christine Sturgis.
(Christine teaches world history at Topeka West.)
