TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Military officers from all over the world made a trip to the Capitol City Thursday.
Court was in session for the the officers at the Kansas Judicial Center. The group are students at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth. They observed a mock hearing in the Kansas Court of Appeals.
The observation was part of their lessons on the American judicial system and state government. The students heard the oral arguments then voted on how they'd decide the case.
The officers also toured the Kansas History Museum and heard a Native American presentation during their visit to Topeka.
