TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- An area golf course is giving back to local families and also remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to their country.

Firekeeper Golf Course today held its Sixth-Annual Patriot Golf Day to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation.

The foundation provides post-secondary education scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving their country.

Folds of Honor's mission is to help ensure that no family is left behind in the field of battle by honoring their sacrifice and educating their legacy.
