(WIBW) - A City of Topeka employee remained jailed Monday in Jefferson County on $50,000 bond.
48-year-old Herman Wyatt was booked Friday morning on charges of aggravated assault, criminal threat and criminal discharge of a firearm recklessly.
Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Herrig says Wyatt threatened a member of his homeowners association. He says Wyatt had a gun at the time and fired it into the air, but not any person.
Wyatt is an infrastructure support manager for the City of Topeka.
