Church Hosting Thanksgiving Dinner For Families In Need

TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW-TV)-- Harvest Church West Branch will sponsor its 4th Annual “Feed the Harvest” dinner on Monday, November 25th from 3:30 – 6:30pm, at Eisenhower Middle School, 3305 SE Minnesota.

This event includes a free, home cooked Thanksgiving meal to the community with emphasis on persons and families in need.

Pastor Tony Stanley, members and volunteers are excited to again serve the Topeka community with hot meals and hope in this annual event first implemented over 15 years ago in the Kansas City area by Pastor Steve Houpe, Senior Pastor and founder of Harvest Church International Outreach.

Last year over 500 meals were served during the event in Topeka. Transportation is available from 3 community pick-up sites, Central Park Community Center, Topeka Rescue Mission and Avondale East Community Center.
