Breakthrough House Holds Its Annual Open House

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- With the month of May being Mental Health Awareness Week, one organization is committed to providing services to individuals with mental illness at its annual open house.

Breathrough House, Inc., a nonprofit agency which helps supports the recovery of individuals with mental illness held its annual open house.

Breakthrough was established 36 years ago to assure the social and vocational needs of individuals with mental illness are met in the Capital City.

The organization honored Claire Phillips, Dr. Pleviak and Deb Trahoon for their tireless commitment to those with a mental illness.
