BRANSON, MISSOURI -- Branson Airport (BKG) has been named one of America’s Top 10 "Stress-Free" Airports by the SmarterTravel.com website.
Branson ranked along with airports in Seattle, Washington; Palm Springs, California; Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota; Tucson, Arizona; Austin, Texas; Providence, Rhode Island; New Bern, North Carolina; Orlando and Palm Beach, Florida. The announcement cites airport amenities, the rustic décor, customer service and the “Branson Wave” as bragging points.
“This is a great honor as customer service is one of our top priorities,” stated Jeff Bourk, Branson Airport’s executive director. “We are pleased to be among the airports recognized and all of our employees are to be commended for their efforts.”
Branson Airport is serviced by AirTran Airways, Frontier Airlines and Branson AirExpress. AirTran offers nonstop flights to Atlanta (ATL), Orlando (MCO), Chicago (MDW), Houston (HOU) and Baltimore/Washington and Frontier flies nonstop to Denver (DEN) with seasonal service to Milwaukee (MKE). Branson AirExpress, a public charter service operated by Corporate Flight Management, offers nonstops four days a week to Austin (AUS) and Dallas (RBD), Texas.
