TOPEKA -- The state's Historical Society announced its 2010 Sundown Film Festival will start Friday night, July 16th, with a free showing of "The Muppet Movie." The free movie festival runs four Fridays in a row, featuring movies with car themes. It all coincides with its special exhibit, Cars: The Need for Speed, which runs through November.
Visitors can tour the Kansas Museum of History at a special $2 rate from 5:00 until 9:00pm on festival nights, and the Museum Store will offer promotional discounts for the moviegoers.

July 30th - "Rebel Without a Cause" (1955)
August 6th - "Back to the Future" (1985)
