Angela Entrikin has spent a lot of sleepless nights keeping an eye on her young son, Phoenix, who's continuing his battle against Cystic Fibrosis. But Saturday, she'll be watching the participants in the 2nd Annual Fighting 4 Phoenix Poker Run at Hiawatha High School.
The ride, this Saturday, July 10th starts with registration at 11:00 that morning for about two hours. Kickstands on the bikes and anything people can ride to help, will be up at 1:00 for the start of the run.
Cost for the first card in the Poker Run is $20, with a $5 donation for each additional card. This year's stops include Mueller's Lockerroom in Atchison; Fastlane in Troy; White Cloud Casino. Worst card still wins a $50 prize, $150 for the best card. There are also drawings for prizes, and a meal and concert with singer Tammy Cochran performing at the final stop!
