Army Sponsors Football Bowl For Low-Income Children

TOPEKA, Kansas - The United States Army is sponsoring the First Midwest High School Senior All-Star Football Friendship Bowl this Saturday. Gametime is 2:00 at Topeka's Hummer Sports Park. Team practices are being held all this week at Highland Park High's football field.

This is a benefit Game that will assist low-income children attend a free summer camp and after school programs.

The Friendship Bowl and Senior All-Star Football Game is designed to recognize the hard work and dedication of High School Senior Athlete’s from across the Midwest.

There will be players from all over the state of Kansas, as well as Nebraska and Missouri.
