Topeka Woman Struck By Lightning Dies
A Topeka woman who was struck by lightning earlier this month has died.
70 year old Viola Combs was struck during a thunderstorm on the afternoon of August 16th.
She died last Friday, more than a week after sustaining her injuries outside the Villa West Apartments.
Combs' visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. tonight and funeral at 11 a.m. tomorrow, both at the Penwell Gabel Mid-Town chapel.
Tomorrow would have been Viola's 71st birthday
