Extreme Summer Heat Sucking Blood Center Dry
To beat the heat the Topeka Community Blood Center is offering extra incentives to donors this week.
Tuesday through Thursday if you give blood you will get a special Mash t-shirt.. Baskin Robbins coupon for a pint of ice cream and an American flag.
It's part of the blood center's "Mash Event."
The center is under a days supply on A and O Negative and B Positive blood types.
The "Mash Event" lasts through Thursday but you can donate anytime at the blood center located at 800 Lane Monday- Thursday from 8-6 p.m., Friday 8-3 p.m. and Saturday 8-12 p.m.
