Decomposed Body Identified

Police have identified the dead body found last night near the Target Distribution Center.

Police say the individual has been identified as 50 year-old Donna J. Pavlick of Topeka, KS. The Shawnee County Coronor's office was able to identify Pavlick through medical records.

Pavlick was last seen on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at approximately 7:45 p.m. No cause of death has been determined at this time.

Police were called to the property around 4:30 pm. Police say the body found is badly decomposed. At this point, it's not known if the death was due to natural causes or if foul play will be suspected.

No further information on exactly how the body was found is available tonight.
