One Person is Killed in a Motorcycle, Semi Accident
Traffic is finally back to normal after an accident on the south side of Topeka this morning claimed the life of one person.
Officials say three motorcycles and a semi were eastbound on I-470 around 10:45 this morning.
All four were exiting on the Burlingame Road / South U.S. 75 ramp when one motorcycle and the semi made contact.
The rider of that motorcycle died at the scene.
The Burlingame road and U.S. 75 southbound exits were closed until just before 5:00 p.m while the Kansas Highway Patrol investigated.
The name of the victim has not been released.
