TOPEKA -- Bill Lutz is a man on a mission. The Topekan whose lived his life loving sports, is taking two local boccia players under his wing so they can achieve their dreams.
Lee Lobmeyer and Austin Hanson both have disabilities, but love to roll boccia games. They're good enough to compete in the Paralympics, and are setting their sights on the world championships in Portugal. They need money. About $14,000 needs to be raised to send Lee and Austin there for the worlds.
Donations are being accepted through BlazeSports America. If you'd like to help send both of them to Portugal, send your checks to Blaze Sports America, in care of Bill Lutz, 2330 Southwest Ashworth Place, Topeka, KS 66614. Thanks very much!
