Man Dies After Severe Beating

Topeka Police say the man severely beaten more than two weeks ago is now the city's seventh homicide.

Police say 46-year-old Randy Lyman of Topeka died last night from injuries he received in a beating July 17th at 635 Southwest Harrison.

Topeka Police say 32-year-old Myron Causey, 21-year-old Jeremy Kincy, and 24-year-old Author Wiseman III are all charged with attempted robbery in Lyman's beating.

An aggravated battery charge for the men was upgraded today to felony murder charges.
