The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has just issued a health advisory due to sewage in Switzler Creek.
They say the city of Burlingame's sewage pump malfunctioned last night and has been by passing raw sewage into Switzler Creek.
The advisory goes from Burlingame to where the creek enters Dragoon Creek.
KDHE advises against contact with the water for all people and animals.
