(AP) Police are looking for vandals who spray-painted graffiti on eight Lawrence churches last weekend.

Most of the images were on doors, exterior walls and trash bins
of the churches of various denominations.

Pastors and church members spent yesterday removing the paint.

The vandalism took place late Saturday or early Sunday at the
Protestant, Catholic and Mormon churches.

Most were on the city's west side. Damage estimates ranged from $30 to $600.
