Two Men Fall 300 Feet Near Lawrence

Two men have fallen 300 feet from a cell phone tower Southeast of Lawrence near Eudora.

Douglas County authorities are releasing few details about the mishap, which happened at about 9:30 Tuesday morning when the two were installing new Nextel equipment on the tower.

The two men were working on the TFM tower located near Kansas Highway 10 which is a Topeka based company, but the two men were not TFM employees.

It is not known if either man survived the fall or what caused them to fall at this time.
