KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Six people suffer gunshot wounds after a fight broke out at a Fourth of July block party in Kansas City.
Police said two victims were treated and released at hospitals while two others were seriously injured, including one described as having "potentially life threatening'' wounds.
Witnesses told police about 200 people were at the block party last night when a verbal confrontation got physical and then gunshots were fired.
Police said they don't know how many people fired shots and not many witnesses stuck around to give investigators additional details.
