Emporia Police I.D. Man Found in Peter Pan Park
Emporia deputy police chief Mike Williams has released the name of a man found unresponsive at Peter Pan Park on Saturday evening.
According to WIBW.com radio partner, KVOE, 26-year-old Kelly Morris of Emporia was found around 7:15 pm in a drainage culvert at the south end of Peter Pan Park.
Emergency responders determined that Morris had died. The circumstances behind Morris’ death are unclear.
Autopsy results are pending through the Lyon County Coroner’s office in Topeka. Williams says police will not release any additional information until the autopsy is completed.
