National Guard Soldiers Returning from Iraq

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ Soldiers from a Kansas National Guard field artillery unit will be returning this weekend from their deployment to Iraq.

The 50 soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarters Battery of the 130th Field Artillery will come home Saturday, escorted by the Patriot Guard to a ceremony at Topeka's Hayden High School.

The soldiers left for Iraq in April 2006, heading to Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, for training before heading to Iraq.
