Police are looking for the gunman who fired into a crowd of people Monday night. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of SE 29th St. 23-year-old Antoine Groves was shot in the foot as he attempted to leave the scene. Groves was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say they are looking for a black man who was last seen wearing an orange ski mask.

If you have any information on this case you can call the TIPS hotline and remain anonymous at 785-234-0007.

Police want to find the persons who left a cooler containing anhydrous ammonia. The cooler was found by a couple of kids on Southeast 34th Monday night.

Anhydrous ammonia is also an ingredient used to make methanmphetamines. The kids complained to their parents that the ammonia in the cooler was burning their eyes.

Police say finding coolers and jugs of this sort isn't unusual.

"What happened was law enforcement was searching trash cans at apartment complexes and doing things like that. So, they started dumping them into roads and fields to avoid detection," said Sgt. Ron Gish.

Police warn that if you see a jug or cooler that does not belong to you or anyone you know do not open it. Instead, call law enforcement.
