Generations of those who served at American Legion Post 400 honored their comrades on this memorial day.

The firing squad unlocked, aimed and fired at Rochester Cemetery today -- as Legion Post 400 held their Memorial Day service.

The National Anthem was sung, and the flag was raised by Boy Scout Troop 193 -- then put at half-mast.

It was a personal day for those who served.

Everyone gathered for coffee and donuts at the post after the ceremony.
