On Saturday May 19th at 2:15 a.m., Topeka Police Department responded to Denny's 3210 S. Topeka Blvd. regarding a fight. Del Ray Tapscott, 40 of Osage, Kansas reported to police that he had parked his car in the parking lot at Denny's and was hit on the head as he got out of his car. Witnesses report several other people also punching and kicking Tapscott before they left in a white two-door Monte Carlo and a green four-door vehicle. Tapscott was taken to a local hospital by AMR with non-life threatening injuries.

Topeka Police are asking anyone with information to call detectives at 368-9400 or remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
