We now know who was killed in a late night house fire last night. Fire officials say 70 year-old James Stember died at the scene of the fire. Three crews responded to the home at 510 NE Paramore at about 10:45 p.m.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Fire officials say the cause of the fire has been determined to be careless discard of smoking materials. The exact cause of Stember's death is still under investigation--- but they don't suspect foul play. The estimated damage is $30,000 dollars.
