RILEY, Kan. (AP) _ Officials of a northeast Kansas school district were waiting for news about a manhunt this morning before deciding whether to cancel classes. After hearing the suspect was not found overnight Wednesday Riley County U.S.D 378 called off classes for Thursday.

Riley County Unified District 378 went into lockdown Wednesday after getting word that a man sought in a domestic disturbance was on the loose.

The suspect is a 38-year-old convicted felon, Seth Joyce. He's wanted in the non-fatal stabbings of two people at a home in Leonardville.

Riley County Police said Joyce remained at large Thursday afternoon.

The school district has about 400 students at three schools, all in the town of Riley. The schools were locked down yesterday after police said Joyce was thought to be within two miles of Riley County High School.
