Around 9 o'clock Tuesday night, a man showed up at St. Francis Health Center after being shot in the torso. The 17 year-old told police that he had been driving his gold 2007 Dodge Stratus in the area of 33rd Terr. and Bryant when someone started firing at his car.

One of the bullets struck him and went to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to KU Med for surgery. Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
